Learn Valuable Communication Skills

Communication is the basis for any successful business. Whether you’re dealing with customers, co-workers, employees or colleagues, knowing how to interact effectively is imperative.

As part of an ongoing series, Cottonwood Heights will host a FREE communications boot camp every Thursday in February from 6:30-7:30 p.m. at city offices (1265 E. Fort Union Blvd., 1st floor training room), covering different aspects of business communications.

On Thursday, Feb. 4, Kelvyn Cullimore, Jr. (Cottonwood Heights Mayor and Dynatronics CEO) will teach "Communicating to a Diverse Audience."

On Thursday, Feb. 11, Beth Strathman (Firebrand Consulting) will teach "Six Approaches for More Powerful Communication."

On Thursday, Feb. 18, Jeff Olpin (Positively Critical) will teach "Effective Communicating & Coaching a Successful Team."

On Thursday, Feb. 25, Karin Palle (Advanced Business Consulting) will teach "How to Network Effectively."

Anyone interested in the workshops can register for individual classes, or all four courses by sending an RSVP to pkinder@ch.utah.gov.

The Cottonwood Heights Business Boot Camp series is sponsored by Zions Bank.
