The 2015 Rivalry Relay Race will pass through Cottonwood Heights on the morning of Saturday, August 29.

Runners will travel south on Wasatch Boulevard between 6 and 10:00 a.m., from the city boundary near the gravel pit – all the way to the mouth of Little Cottonwood Canyon, where the race will continue south to Provo.

The race will not close the road, but runners will share the road with drivers, who are asked to take caution while in the area.

The Rivalry Relay Race is a unique opportunity for BYU and University of Utah fans to show their support for their team in a friendly running competition.

The race covers sixty miles from the start and finish lines near Rice-Eccles and Lavell Edwards stadiums.
