Road Work

Sewer line replacement and roadwork will affect traffic on Bengal Blvd. and part of 2300 East, beginning Wednesday, June 3.

The project is expected to last most of the summer, and will cause several lane restrictions and detours in the area.

Cottonwood Heights appreciates the patience of affected residents and business operators during the next three months.

The work has been contracted by Staker Parson Companies, which has set up a hotline for questions and concerns at 801-604-3399.

Here is a summary of the project:

Bengal Blvd. ADA Access Ramps
This Public Works project began at the end of April and will upgrade many of the pedestrian access ramps along Bengal Blvd. to ADA standards. This is a federally funded project that has been planned ahead of the Bengal Blvd. Resurfacing & Sewer Replacement Project to minimize the construction time of the two projects. Our contractor has been working from the west end of Bengal Blvd. heading to 3500 E. All work has been completed below 2600 E. The ramp on the north-east corner of 2600 E will be replaced as well as many others east of 2600 E on Bengal Blvd.

Please slow down and use caution when traveling through the work zone for the safety of yourself and the contractor’s personnel.
